    1. Yes, it can be taken multiple times a day, preferably till afternoon. It is usually recommended to take 1 to 2 amla during a day and the best time to take it is the morning. Its juice is very effective if taken empty stomach. There are two main reasons why its consumption should be avoided during night times, Firstly, it has cold potency and secondly it is way too acidic. In night when our body is going to do nothing but rest, regular intake of amla may lead to acidity and heart burn. Your body should be active after taking it to get all the benefits out of it.
