Beetroot yogurt/ raita


  1. Grated beetroot- 1/4 cup
  2. Water-2 table spoon
  3. Cucumber cubes- finely chopped: 1/4 cup
  4. Thick curd/ yogurt- 250 gm
  5. Black salt- 1/4th teaspoon
  6. Salt-1/4th teaspoon
  7. Roasted cumin seed powder-1/4 teaspoon


  1. Take grated beetroot in a bowl.
  2. Add a little bit of water and microwave for 1 minute
  3. Let it cool and add in a finely whisked curd or yogurt
  4. Add salt, black salt and a little bit of roasted cumin powder in it
  5. Further, add cucumber cubes and mix it well
  6. Enjoy your delicious and beetroot raita/yogurt.
